Prediction

Brisbane has won four of the past five times it has hosted West Coast at the ‘Gabba, including last season’s amazing two-point upset when James Polkinghorne’s barrel snuck through for the match-winning goal. The Lions look to be completely lacking confidence at the moment, and they’ve been blown away early in recent losses to Sydney and North Melbourne. In Brisbane’s four losses, they’ve averaged just 63 points per game. The Lions were destroyed by Sydney’s midfield and if the Eagles are able to gain anywhere near that advantage, the likes of Josh Kennedy, Jack Darling, Mark LeCras will have more than enough opportunities to kick a winning score. Eagles by 18 points .
