Tuesday 7 May, 2013 - Someone who purchased a TattsLotto entry in Wangaratta is going to be surprised when they discover it has won a division one prize worth more than $800,000!
Tatts is waiting for the mystery owner of the unregistered winning entry from the weekend’s TattsLotto draw 3317 to come forward and claim their prize.
Tatts spokesperson Belinda McDougall said the winning entry is not registered to a Tatts Card so Tatts hasn’t been able to contact the winner with the good news.
“If you purchased an unregistered entry in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw 3317 from West End Lotto, we suggest you keep the ticket in a safe place and have it checked as soon as possible at a Tatts outlet or online at www.tattersalls.com.au,” Ms McDougall said.
“TattsLotto players are encouraged to always register their lottery purchases to their Tatts Card. Not only does registration ensure your prizes are secure it also ensures you can be contacted directly with news of a big win.”
The winning entry in TattsLotto was purchased from West End Lotto, 51a Phillipson Street in Wangaratta.
Throughout Australia, there were five entries that won a first division share of TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool, each worth $832,269.66. Apart from the winning entry sold in Wangaratta, there were two winning entries from Tasmania, and one each in Queensland and Western Australia.
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3317 on 4 May 2013 were 12, 35, 30, 2, 13 and 20 with the supplementary numbers 7 and 1.
