Monday 6 May, 2013 - A Pimpama mum’s Monday morning routine was thrown out the window after she was informed she’d won a share in Saturday’s $4 million division one prize pool in the weekend’s Gold Lotto draw!
The woman was in disbelief after being told by Golden Casket that her family was now $832,269.66 richer.
“Are you kidding me? You must be kidding me! I’m so overwhelmed. I just can’t believe it,” the winner exclaimed.
“I’ve been playing those numbers for years and I don’t think I’ve ever won more than $20!
“I’ve always said what I’d do if I won Gold Lotto but now I’m not sure what we’ll do with the money. We’ll definitely think wisely before we spend any of it.
“I do know a little will go towards a family holiday that we’re currently planning. This time though, we won’t have to scrimp as much!”
The winning registered ticket was purchased at Ormeau Newsagency, Shop 11 in the Ormeau Centre, Vaughan Drive, Ormeau.
Throughout Australia, there were five entries that won a first division share of Saturday Gold Lotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool, each worth $832,269.66.
Along with the winning entry from Ormeau, there were two winning tickets sold in Tasmania, and one each in Victoria and Western Australia.
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3317 on 4 May 2013 were 12, 35, 30, 2, 13 and 20 with the supplementary numbers 7 and 1.
