Red Bull will be bidding for its fourth straight win at the Monaco Grand Prix this weekend, with Mark Webber  and Sebastian Vettel  having won the past three renewals of the race between them. Webber, who is off contract at the end of the season, has struggled since winning in the principality twelve months ago, with his victory at the British Grand Prix last July is his only win since. In five starts this year he has only made the podium  once, when he finished second to his teammate at the controversial Malaysian Grand Prix.

In addition to his success in Kuala Lumpur, Vettel won at Bahrain last month and holds a ten point advantage over Kimi Raikkonen  in the driver’s standings. Raikkonen (2005) is one of four other drivers in the field to have won here in the past, with Britons Jenson Button  (2009) and Lewis Hamilton  (2008) seeing the chequered flag first in the two years preceding Red Bull’s domination. Spaniard Fernando Alonso  (2006,2007) has won here twice previously and with two victories under his belt already in 2013, is undoubtedly one of the men to beat.
