The signing of Josh Dugan is just what the Dragons  need at the moment, with the club having lost three consecutive matches going into their clash with the Eels  on Saturday. Having represented New South Wales at State of Origin level, the fullback will bring some much needed spark to an attack that has the second worst point scoring record of any side in the competition. Although Kangaroos winger Brett Morris remains on the sidelines, centre Matt Cooper returns after recovering from a toe injury.

Parramatta scored their third win of the season with a 19-18 victory over the Broncos last weekend but has been forced to make a change to its squad, with the suspension of bench forward Darcy Lussick paving the way for Junior Paulo to make his debut.

St George Illawarra will not only be buoyed by the inclusion of star back Josh Dugan, but also by the formidable record that they have against Parramatta. The Dragons have won nine of the past ten meetings between these clubs and haven’t tasted defeat to this weekend’s rivals since 2009. St George Illawarra Dragons by 8
