Winner set for a holiday after Saturday Gold Lotto win!

Tuesday 23 April, 2013 - A Gold Coast man is now planning to jet off on an international holiday after sharing in division one and other divisional prizes in Saturday Gold Lotto!

The winning man was stunned when he was told of his total prize windfall of $669,046.21 by a Golden Casket official.

“Oh beautiful. That’s plenty, isn’t it?” the shocked winner questioned.

“I’m going to go to the bank and get rid of my mortgage and then I’m going to have a holiday! I might even go overseas.”

When asked if he’ll also spoil his grandkids, the winner replied, “Oh yes but they get spoilt enough so this time I might spoil myself first!”

The winning registered ticket was purchased at Currumbin Creek News, Shop 1 at 52 Currumbin Creek Road, Currumbin Waters.

Owner Robert Grogan was thrilled that his newsagency sold a division one winning entry in Saturday Gold Lotto.

“This is actually the second time we’ve had a first division winner. We had a $616,000 win back in 2010,” Mr Grogan said.

“We’re on fire! Maybe the luck can continue and we’ll sell the winning ticket in this Thursday’s $50 million Powerball draw!”

Throughout Australia, there were six entries that won a first division share of Saturday Gold Lotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool, each worth $662,891.11.

Along with the winning entry from the Gold Coast, there were four winning tickets sold in Victoria and another in New South Wales.

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3313 on 20 April 2013 were 7, 10, 41, 34, 28 and 44 with the supplementary numbers 14 and 8.
