Tuesday 23 April, 2013 - Two Capalaba residents are each celebrating being $10,000 richer after winning in Golden Casket’s Scratch eClub Monthly Second Chance Draw!
The two wins were a result of a special promotional draw where a total of five winners received $10,000 each.
Local woman turns $2 into $10,000
A Capalaba woman admitted she was stunned when she discovered that her non-winning Instant Scratch-Its ticket scored her $10,000.
“I just didn’t believe it,” she told a Golden Casket official.
“I actually heard about the second chance draws from a friend so I started entering. I never expected that my $2 ticket would eventually win me $10,000!” she exclaimed.
The woman said that she will put some of her winnings on her mortgage, do a few home repairs and leave the rest in the bank.
Hamilton Island holiday for Capalaba man
A local man will soon be winging his way to Hamilton Island thanks to his $10,000 win in Golden Casket’s Scratch eClub Second Chance Draw.
The man told Golden Casket that the windfall came at the perfect time.
“The money has just made things a lot easier for us,” he said.
“We still need to do some cleaning up around the house after the floods earlier this year. We’d been saving to get some of it done but now we’ll be able to do it right away.
“Then we can use what’s left to take a long-awaited and much-needed holiday to Hamilton Island!” he exclaimed.

Golden Casket Public Relations Manager Elissa Lewis said that the Scratch eClub Monthly Second Chance Draws are a great way for members to have additional chances to win.
“Scratch eClub members just need to enter their eligible non-winning Golden Casket Instant Scratch-Its tickets into the Monthly Second Chance Draw for another chance to win,” Ms Lewis said.
