West Tigers  will be without Benji Marshall for their Sunday afternoon clash with the Dragons  at the Sydney Cricket Ground after the Kiwi international was ruled out for three weeks with a tie injury. Adam Blair beat his contrary conduct charge at the judiciary during the week and has been cleared to play but Bodene Thompson will spend a week on the sidelines for dangerous contact.

St George Illawarra has injuries worries of its own, with Gerard Beale out for the season after suffering a serious knee injury last week, with Jason Nightingale replacing him at fullback. Daniel Vidot comes onto the wing as the only player brought into the side following back to back wins over the Sharks and Knights.

1st Tryscorer

Highly regarded youngster James Tedesco  impressed everyone against the Storm last weekend, with his good night at AAMI Park beginning when he opened the scoring in the 17th minute.

Matt Cooper  is yet to score a four pointer this season but has a good history of getting across the line when he plays at the SCG. He has seven tries from six matches at the ground and will look to open his account for 2013 there.

Prediction – Although the Tigers have lost two in a row, they were against two very strong teams in the Storm and Sea Eagles, with the performance against Melbourne particularly encouraging. They also have a good record against the Dragons, with three wins from the past four meetings between the clubs and could spring a surprise. Wests Tigers 1-12
