Tuesday 26 March, 2013 - A syndicate of TattsLotto players across Victoria will share in a first division prize from TattsLotto’s $25 million Superdraw!
The large syndicate with entries purchased from 11 different Tatts outlets in Melbourne won a prize totalling $1.63 million. The syndicate was comprised of 120 shares, with some players purchasing multiple shares, each of which won a $13,584.92 prize.
Kevin Ung is the owner of Werribee Plaza Lotto Kiosk who started operating the successful cross-town syndicate around three years ago.
“This syndicate is only run for big TattsLotto draws, like Superdraws and Megadraws throughout the year,” Mr Ung said.
“Some players buy just one share, others buy two or three shares for more chances to win a prize.
“In the last four years since 2009, syndicates that we have operated from Werribee Plaza Lotto Kiosk have won eight division one prizes! This happened once in 2009, once in 2010, four times in 2011 and so far twice in 2013.
“The last winning syndicate we had was on 26 January this year, when players split a $4 million TattsLotto prize, just nine weeks ago.”
Players from the following Tatts outlets will claim the syndicate share prizes: Airport West Nextra, Boronia Junction Lotto, Box Hill Central Lotto, Clarinda Lotto, Coburg Hub Lotto, Doncaster Lotto, Golden Glass Lotto in Glenroy, Pinewood Authorised Newsagency in Mt Waverley, Thomastown News & Lotto, Waverley Gardens Lotto in Mulgrave and Werribee Plaza Lotto Kiosk.
The winning System 10 and System 18 marked TattsLotto entry allowed the syndicate to win a first division prize along with multiple divisional prizes, amounting to a total prize of $1,630,190.99 for the group.
Incredibly, Box Hill Central Lotto and Waverley Gardens Lotto in Mulgrave also sold individual division one winning entries to their customers in Saturday’s $25 million Superdraw, each worth $1.47 million.
