Monday 25 March, 2013 - Saturday Lotto’s $25 million Superdraw prize was shared by 17 winners across Australia, with four of the winning shares sold in New South Wales.
A woman from the Central Coast scored a $1.4 million share in the $25 million division one prize pool, as did two unregistered winners who purchased their winning tickets in Sydney’s CBD and Mosman. A registered player also bought their winning entry from the suburb of Summer Hill in Sydney.
A woman’s last-minute decision to register her entry in Saturday Lotto’s $25 million Superdraw has made her $1,470,588.24 richer after winning a share in the division one prize pool!
The winner explained when she went to buy her entry in Saturday Lotto’s $25 million Superdraw she realised she didn’t have her NSW Lotteries Players Club card with her.
“I nearly bought an unregistered ticket but I thought I better go and get my card to register my entry,” the excited winner explained to a NSW Lotteries official.
“I went back in the afternoon to grab a QuickPick and handed over my Players Club card and said to the staff member behind the counter ‘can you give me the winning ticket please’.
“If I had bought that unregistered QuickPick entry in the morning, I wouldn’t have got the winning ticket!” she exclaimed.
The winner is looking forward to being debt free and sharing her winnings with her family.
The winning 50-game QuickPick in Saturday Lotto’s $25 million Superdraw was purchased at Supanews Erina Fair, Shop T345 Erina Fair, Terrigal Drive in Erina.
A father of two had no idea he’d won a division one share in Saturday Lotto’s $25 million Superdraw until he checked his winning ticket this morning.
The shocked winner declared ‘this is my lucky day’ when he was told of his $1,470,588.24 division one share in Saturday’s Superdraw.
“I don’t know what I’ll do with the money. I’ll have to think about it now!” the stunned winner said.
The winning unregistered 36-game QuickPick entry was purchased in Sydney’s CBD from The Lucky Charm Queen Victoria Building Newsagency, Shops 84 and 88 in the Queen Victoria Building, George Street.
It’s the second time this month that The Lucky Charm Queen Victoria Building Newsagency has sold a division one winning entry in Saturday Lotto.
An unregistered winning ticket was sold from Mosman Newsagency, 890 Military Road in Mosman. The winner who wishes to remain completely anonymous had their ticket checked and has come forward to claim their prize.
A registered winning ticket was sold from Summer Hill Newsagency, 20 Lackey Street in Summer Hill. The winner hasn’t yet to come forward to claim their prize from NSW Lotteries.
Seventeen winners across Australia shared in Saturday Lotto’s $25 million Superdraw prize, along with the four winning entries sold in New South Wales, there were seven winning Victorian entries, two winning entries sold in both Queensland and Western Australia, and one winning ticket in South Australia and another in Northern Territory.
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto’s $25 million Superdraw, draw number 3305 on 23 March were 12, 13, 2, 30, 3 and 16. The supplementary numbers were 5 and 17.
