Friday 22 March, 2013 - $2 Lucky Lotteries Jackpot players who recently purchased their ticket in Wollongong are encouraged to check their pockets, purses and wallets for the $8,165,000 winning entry!
As the mystery owner of the ticket did not register their winning $2 Lucky Lotteries Jackpot entry to a Players Club card, NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the state’s newest multi-millionaire.
NSW Lotteries Senior Public Relations Executive Belinda McDougall said that players who think they are holding the winning ticket should contact NSW Lotteries as soon as possible.
“If the winner had registered their ticket to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card we would have phoned them with the fantastic life changing news. However in this case the winner may be completely unaware of their new multi-millionaire status,” Ms McDougall said.
“If you have checked your Lucky Lotteries $2 Jackpot entry and think you may be holding the winning ticket, ensure that you keep it in a safe place and contact NSW Lotteries as soon as possible to begin the prize claim process.”
The winning ticket was purchased from Cringila Village Newsagency, Shop 1, 15 Lake Avenue in Cringila.
The massive $8,165,000 prize was won in yesterday’s $2 Jackpot Lottery, draw 9805. The jackpot prize in the $2 Jackpot Lottery is won when the selected jackpot number has already won a cash prize in the same draw. Yesterday’s winning ticket had won just $10 before being selected for the $8,165,000 jackpot prize.
The $2 Lucky Lotteries jackpot prize now reverts to the base prize offer of $500,000 for draw 9806 scheduled for Monday 25 March.
The Lucky Lotteries $5 Jackpot game has jackpotted to $12,515,000 with the next draw scheduled for Thursday 28 March 2013.
