Friday 1 March, 2013 - A Central Coast man is still pinching himself after scratching $100,000 on a $5 Instant Scratch-Its ticket last week.
The lucky winner was sitting on the beach when he remembered he had an Instant Scratch-Its ticket in his pocket that he’d purchased earlier in the day.
“As I was scratching the prize amount, I was shaking. I thought this is the $100,000!” the winner exclaimed.
“No-one was on the beach with me so no-one knew I had won.”
“I just couldn’t believe it. I still can’t believe it. I want to scream it out, but I won’t,” the stunned winner told a NSW Lotteries official.
The father of two now plans to use his $100,000 Instant Scratch-Its prize to pay some bills, look after his family and maybe even update his car.
The $100,000 winning Instant Scratch-Its ticket was sold from Supanews Erina Fair, Shop T12, Erina Fair Shopping Centre on Terrigal Drive, Erina.
