Riverview man scores $25,000 on second chance!

Thursday 7 February, 2013 - A retired man from Riverview has scored big after winning $25,000 in Golden Casket’s Scratch eClub second chance draw.

The man, who regularly enters the Scratch eClub draws was delighted to find out that his non-winning $5 Set for Life Scratch-It ticket had made him $25,000 richer.

“Scratch-Its are my only vice, I enjoy them anyway so to win this money is such a bonus!” the man exclaimed.

“Once I scratched the ticket and realised it isn’t a winner, I thought that’s it I’m not a winner.

“I never believed that I could win $25,000 just for entering a second chance draw,” he added.

The man has already shared some of the money with his children and will now put the rest towards his retirement.

“I’m getting older now so to have this extra money is just fantastic.”

Every month Scratch eClub members are given the chance to turn their eligible non-winning Golden Casket Scratch-its ticket into a winner. Scratch eClub is free to join and there is often a number of prizes to be won each month.

Players simply need to register as a Scratch eClub member online at www.scratcheclub.com/qld.

Golden Casket Public Relations Manager Elissa Lewis said that the Scratch eClub monthly second chance draws are a great way for member to have additional chances to win.

“Scratch eClub members just need to enter their eligible non-winning Golden Casket Instant Scratch-Its tickets into the monthly second chance draw for another chance to win,” Ms Lewis said.

“Just don’t forget to hold onto your ticket, you will need it to claim your prize,” she added.

“There’s $10,000 up for grabs in the February draw so get scratching!”
