Tuesday 5 February, 2013 - Someone’s pocket could be feeling plump today with a Lotto ticket worth $1 million purchased in Plumpton!
Lotto players who recently purchased tickets in Plumpton are encouraged to check their pockets and purses today for a $1,000,000 division one winning Lotto ticket.
As the mystery owner of the ticket did not register their winning Monday & Wednesday Lotto entry with a Players Club card, NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the state’s newest Lotto millionaire.
NSW Lotteries Public Relations Executive Zoe Knobel said that anyone who thinks they may have the winning ticket should contact NSW Lotteries as soon as possible.
“If the winner had registered their ticket to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card we would have phoned them with the good news. However in this case the winner may be completely unaware of their new millionaire status,” Ms Knobel said.
“If you have checked your Lotto numbers and think you may be holding the winning ticket, ensure that you keep the ticket safe and contact NSW Lotteries as soon as possible to begin the prize claim process.”
The winning ticket was purchased from Plumpton Marketplace Newsagency, Shop T19 on Jersey Road, Plumpton.
Lotto players are encouraged to always register their lottery purchases to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card. Not only does registration ensure your prizes are secure it also ensures you can be contacted directly with news of a big win.
The winning numbers in Monday Lotto, draw 3214, on 4 February 2013 were 31, 7, 43, 15, 16 and 30 with the supplementary numbers 20 and 42.
