Ballarat retirees win $512,000 TattsLotto prize!

Monday 25 February, 2013 - A retired couple from Ballarat won a $512,531.51 share of TattsLotto on Saturday and are finding it hard to accept the life changing news!

The winning woman told a Tatts official today that the first division win has come as a total shock.

“It’s hard to imagine having so much money!” she exclaimed.

“We’ll sit on it for a while and think hard about what to do with it.

“We might even use the money to buy a new home, but we’ll be downsizing at our age.”

The Grandparents are looking forward to celebrating the news with their family.

The winning 24-game QuickPick entry was purchased from Williams Newsagency, 917 Sturt Street in Ballarat.

Throughout Australia, there were eight entries that won a first division share of TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on the weekend, each worth $512,531.51. Along with the Ballarat entry, there were two more winning tickets purchased in Victoria in Somerville and Seaford, along with two each in Queensland and Western Australia and one in New South Wales.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3297 on 23 February 2013 were 8, 6, 13, 39, 29 and 34 with the supplementary numbers 20 and 9.
