Glen Innes man turns $3 into $10,000 with second chance!

Tuesday 19 February, 2013 - A winner from Glen Innes almost fell off his chair after discovering that his $3 non-winning Scratch-Its ticket had made him $10,000 richer.

The local man said he was in disbelief after learning that his entry into NSW Lotteries Scratch eClub Second Chance Draw had produced the unexpected windfall.

“I just couldn’t believe it!” he exclaimed.

“To know that my Scratch-Its ticket, which wasn’t a winner, has now scored me $10,000 is just incredible.

“All because I took the time to punch some numbers into my computer,” he continued.

“It’s definitely worth it!”

The win has given him the opportunity to attend his motorcycle social club’s annual function, an event he otherwise would not have gone to.

“I definitely wouldn’t have been able to go before I won this money so I’m really looking forward to it!”

The man has also shared some of the joy by helping his loved ones.

“I have already used some of it to help my family and some friends.

“Just to buy some smaller items that they can’t afford,” he added.

Every month Scratch eClub members are given the chance to turn their eligible non-winning NSW Lotteries Scratch-Its ticket into a winner. Scratch eClub is free to join and there are often a number of prizes to be won each month.

Players simply need to register as a Scratch eClub member online at www.scratcheclub.com/nsw.

NSW Lotteries Public Relations Manager Elissa Lewis said that the Scratch eClub monthly second chance draws are a great way for members to have additional chances to win.

“Scratch eClub members just need to enter their eligible non-winning NSW Lotteries Instant Scratch-Its tickets into the monthly second chance draw for another chance to win,” Ms Lewis said.

“Just don’t forget to hold onto your ticket, you will need it to claim your prize,” she added.

“There’s $10,000 up for grabs in the February draw so get scratching!”
