A "stiff scotch" for Bankstown’s $1 million Lotto winner!

Friday 15 February, 2013 - Several days after the Monday Lotto draw took place this week, a Bankstown woman was finally available to answer her phone to a call from a NSW Lotteries official advising of her $1 million first division win!

“Is this THE phone call?” she said incredulously.

“You’re not having me on are you? I must have missed your other calls this week, but would you know it, I’ve been waiting for this call for 30 years, since I started playing!”

The Bankstown woman in her 60s couldn’t contain her laughter at the news, which she says will lift a weight off her shoulders.

“This money means I can make some plans for my future after work,” she said.

“I’m also in need of a new car, and I’d like to take a nice trip overseas!”

When asked what special plans she has to celebrate her good fortune, the winner’s answer was simple.

“I’ll have a stiff scotch, there was never a better time for it,” she laughed.

The winning ticket was purchased from Supanews Bankstown, Shop T203 in Centro Bankstown, 1 North Terrace, Bankstown.

The winning numbers in Monday Lotto, draw 3216, on 11 February 2013 were 14, 34, 42, 20, 31 and 19 with the supplementary numbers 28 and 35.
