After a lean trot which included two losses and two draws, super-club Manchester United is chasing its third win on the trot in the English Premier League. Before a midweek win over Stoke City in the League Cup, United posted a 3-1 home victory over West Ham and a 3-0 result over Aston Villa on the road.
Even though it's coming off three solid draws, Hull City is without a win since the beginning of the month when it shocked competition leader Liverpool 3-1 at KC Stadium. Hull has five wins and five draws from its 17 matches thus far, and manager Steve Bruce is looking to add one or two quality players to his roster during the January transfer period.
In all competitions, the Red Devils have notched four straight wins, easing the pressure on manager David Moyes, who has come under fire after mixed results. With a record 20 League Titles and 11 FA Cups, fans of this powerhouse club are used to success and Moyes has to follow in the steps of football legend, Sir Alex Ferguson, who was at helm during the halcyon days from 1986 through to earlier this year.
