Wednesday 18 December 2013 - One winning entry from Queensland has scooped the entire Oz Lotto first division prize pool of $70 million!
The multi-million dollar win has been written into the record books as the largest single lotto win in Australia’s history and Tatts Lotteries can reveal the winning entry was sold on the Gold Coast.
Tatts Lotteries spokesperson Elissa Lewis said the Gold Coast winner is holding an unregistered entry.
“As the winning entry was not registered to a Winners Circle card, we were unable to contact the winner following last night’s draw to share the life-changing news,” Ms Lewis said.
“Our message for customers is, if you purchased an unregistered ticket on the Gold Coast that you believe has won the $70 million division one prize in last night’s Oz Lotto draw, we urge you to contact Golden Casket as soon as possible.
“Your privacy is important to us at this very exciting time in your life and we’re looking forward to hearing from you,” she added.
Once they have claimed their truckload of cash the winner is sure to ring in the New Year in style!
Along with the mammoth $70 million jackpot prize more than 1.4 million prizes were won across Australia in divisions two to seven, sharing in a total prize pool of $99 million.
The seven winning numbers we all wish we had in Oz Lotto’s $70 million draw 1035 on 17 December 2013 were 26, 24, 20, 17, 34, 39 and 36, with the supplementary numbers 22 and 23.
Oz Lotto will offer a $2 million division one prize in next week’s draw on Christmas Eve.
Lotto players still have an opportunity to win big this week with a $40 million Powerball jackpot this Thursday, 19 December 2013.
