First cash prizes drawn in Opera House Competition!

Friday 15 November, 2013 - Ten NSW Lotteries players have an extra $1,000 in their pocket after winning in the first of four weekly cash prize draws in the Make the Opera House your House Competition. 

Each winner picked up $1,000 by simply purchasing a ticket in last weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw and entering the Make the Opera House your House Competition. 

Never before has a major prize like this been offered, New South Wales residents who purchase their Saturday Lotto tickets in New South Wales could make the iconic Sydney Opera House their house! 

As part of the 40th anniversary celebrations, Saturday Lotto customers could win an all-inclusive luxury weekend staying at the Opera House. 

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Elissa Lewis said NSW Lotteries is excited to partner with Sydney Opera House to celebrate the international icon’s 40th Anniversary, support its renewal project and offer its customers the opportunity for a once in a lifetime experience. 

“Simply by purchasing an entry into any of four November Saturday Lotto draws, customers have the chance to enter and win both the weekly and major prize draws,” Ms Lewis said. 

“Each week in November there are ten $1,000 cash prizes up for grabs with the major prize of an overnight stay for two at the Opera House in a luxury suite created by Sofitel Sydney Wentworth. 

The prize winner will enjoy prime views overlooking Sydney Harbour, as well as an exclusive dinner and show tickets to La Soirée, private backstage tour, an exclusive lunch for them and eight friends and $2,000 spending money.

To enter, customer must have purchased an eligible Saturday Lotto ticket in Saturday Lotto draws 3371, 3373, 3375 and/or 3377. 

If customers purchased a ticket with their Players Club Card they will automatically be entered into the weekly and major prize draws, for customers who purchased unregistered tickets they can enter online at nswlotteries/operahouse.com.
