Two brothers share in Saturday Lotto win from Murwillumbah!

Monday 21 January, 2013 - Two brothers who buy their Saturday Lotto entries together from Murwillumbah won a first division prize of $351,746.42 in the weekend’s draw!

The brothers are both in their 30s and were thrilled with the news of their Saturday Lotto windfall when speaking with a NSW Lotteries official this morning.

“We’ve been buying Saturday Lotto tickets together every week for around three and a half years,” one of the winning brothers explained.

“Each of us are planning to do some home renovations with our half of the money.

“It’s great to be able to share a win like this. We’ve already booked a holiday away together with our wives to celebrate!” he added.

The winning System 8 entry was purchased from Sunnyside Newsagency & Office City, Shop 4A in Sunnyside Mall on Wollumbin Street in Murwillumbah.

Another division one prize in New South Wales went to an entry purchased from Tuross Head Newsagency. The winning entry is unregistered and NSW Lotteries encourages all Saturday Lotto players who purchased entries in Tuross Head to check their tickets.

Throughout Australia, there were 12 entries that won a first division share of Saturday Lotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on the weekend.

Along with the two winning tickets purchased in New South Wales, there were four purchased in Victoria, three in Western Australia, two in South Australia and one in Queensland.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3287 on 19 January 2013 were 4, 25, 11, 16, 19 and 14 with the supplementary numbers 34 and 18.
