Saturday Gold Lotto win works wonders for wife's looks!

Monday 21 January, 2013 - A local family who purchased their Saturday Gold Lotto entry in Waterford won a prize worth $363,076.82 in the weekend’s draw!

The winning father in his 50s was rapt with the news when he spoke with a Golden Casket official this morning.

“When I checked the Gold Lotto draw results after midnight on Saturday I recognised my numbers right away,” he said.

“I went straight in to wake my wife up to tell her the good news. At first she wouldn’t believe me but when she finally came around she jumped out of bed and had a drink to celebrate!

“She’s absolutely over the moon. This kind of money means we can relax a bit now. I swear my wife looks 20 years younger!” he laughed.

“First of all we’ll pay off the house and our credit cards, then we’ll look at buying rental properties and boosting our superannuation.”

The System 10 entry won the family a first division prize along with other divisional prizes for a total of $363,076.82 and was purchased from Waterford Plaza News, Shop 21, corner of Kingston and Tygum Roads in Waterford.

Throughout Australia, there were 12 entries that won a first division share of Saturday Gold Lotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on the weekend.

Along with the winning ticket purchased in Queensland, there were four purchased in Victoria, three in Western Australia, with two each in New South Wales and South Australia.

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3287 on 19 January 2013 were 4, 25, 11, 16, 19 and 14 with the supplementary numbers 34 and 18.
