Eagle Farm Racing Preview January 19

**TattsBet $100,000 QUADRELLA Jackpot (BR5, BR6, BR7 & BR8)**

Class 6 Handicap (BR5) – Prost was competitive in much better races than this during his last campaign, and can be in the finish of this event despite having to lug 59.5kg. He has a good record fresh, has won over this trip and should get a good run from barrier two. In form frontrunner Vintage Moss is sure to be competitive having won both of his starts this preparation, but will have to work hard to get to the front from gate 10. Revitalise drops considerably in weight from his last run and is worth considering, while Commandare has been racing consistently well and will go close.
Selections: Prost, Revitalise, Vintage Moss, Commandare

QTIS Three Year-Old Handicap (BR6) – Indubious has been racing tremendously well this preparation and can make it three wins from his past four starts here. The Len Treloar trained gelding beat the older horses last time out and will appreciate stepping back to race against his own age group. Although he is yet to compete over this trip, there is nothing to suggest that it will pose a big problem. General Exhibit was beaten as favourite the Gold Coast on New Years Day but will be better suited returning to the expanses of Eagle Farm. Last time he raced here he was narrowly beaten giving weight to Heza Jetsetter, who has subsequently gone on to finish a creditable 7th in the Magic Millions Guineas. That form is good enough for this race. La Frisson Belle will go forward from her inside gate and could be hard to run down, while Nobody’s Boy is an interesting entry after being beaten at long odds on at the Sunshine Coast last time out.
Selections: Indubious, General Exhibit, Nobody’s Boy, La Frisson Belle

Open Handicap (BR7) – Speedy Far North Queensland visitor Last Gift appears to be the likely leader in this race from barrier 2 and will give his backers a good sight for a long way. Morning Captain has been racing in better races than this and should have every chance of winning from gate seven however. He hasn’t been beaten far in black type races at his past three starts and will appreciate a step back in class. Premiership winning trainer Rob Heathcote takes charge of former Victorian galloper Silver Bullion and he will run a good race after trialling well, as will Symposium, who has a terrific first up record and has won five of seven starts over this trip.
Selections: Morning Captain, Last Gift, Symposium, Silver Bullion

NMW Handicap (BR8) – Accidental has two wins and a third from three runs this preparation and can continue his good form by taking this contest. Powerful Jet put in a career best effort to finish third behind a couple of smart gallopers last time out, while Write Cheek and Precious Mandy could be the other pair to concentrate on, although preference is for the former from a better gate. Playitstraight has run well at both of his Brisbane starts and looks to be the best of the rest.
Selections: Accidental, Write Cheek, Powerful Jet, Playitstraight
