Wimmera farmers win TattsLotto prize of $680,000!

Monday 14 January, 2013 - A farming couple in the Wimmera region won a first division prize of $683,517.91 in TattsLotto on the weekend!

When speaking with a Tatts official this afternoon the winning woman said she was delighted with the windfall.

“We’re planning on taking a holiday with this prize money,” the winning woman said.

“All I have to do now is convince my husband that we should treat ourselves to business class travel this time!

“We’ll get some financial advice and put away most of the money as a nest egg for the future,” she added.

The winning 50-game ticket was purchased online from Tatts.com.

Another two division one prizes went to winning entries in Victoria. One went to a couple from Stawell who purchased their winning TattsLotto ticket from Harris Newsagency in Ararat, and another to a Sunbury family who purchased their entry from Sunbury Square Lotto.

Throughout Australia, there were six winners who claimed a first division share of TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on the weekend.

Along with the three winning tickets purchased in Victoria, there was one each purchased in Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3285 on 12 January 2013 were 15, 31, 34, 6, 11 and 2 with the supplementary numbers 30 and 16.
