Tuesday 4 September, 2012 - A TattsLotto entry purchased in Dandenong has won its owner almost half a million dollars, but chances are they don’t know it yet!
The winner, who has yet to come forward, won a total prize of $494,421.71 with an entry purchased from Lucky Strike Lotto at Richies Supermarket, 141-145 Lonsdale Street in Dandenong.
As the ticket is not registered to Tatts Card holder, Tatts officials have no way of contacting the winner to tell them the good news.
Tatts Public Relations Executive Zoe Knobel said that the winner may have started their week with no idea of their good fortune.
“As the winner has not yet contacted Tatts, it is highly likely that they have started their working week completely unaware that they won a first division prize in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw,” Ms Knobel.
“If you recently purchased a TattsLotto ticket from Lucky Strike Lotto at Richies Supermarket in Dandenong, we encourage you to check your ticket as soon as possible.
“The sooner this player comes forward to claim their prize, the sooner they can enjoy living like a TattsLotto winner,” Ms Knobel added.
“So if you purchased an unregistered entry in Dandenong, we recommend you search your pockets, wallet and glove box to find that winning ticket!”
Throughout Australia there were nine winners who shared in Saturday’s guaranteed $4 million division one prize pool. There were three winners in Victoria, five in Queensland and one in South Australia.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3247 on 1 September 2012 were 9, 24, 31, 29, 19 and 28 with the supplementary numbers 5 and 15.
