South Coast man is delighted with $250,000 Instant Scratch-Its win!

Friday 21 September 2012 - A Tura Beach man has a lot to think about this weekend; because he has to decide how he will spend the $250,000 top prize he won on the $10 Instant Scratch-Its 250 Grand ticket.

The occasional Instant Scratch-Its player said that his first reaction when scratching the winning ticket was that he must have made a mistake.

“I buy Instant Scratch-Its tickets now and again when I’m buying my Lotto tickets,” the winner in his sixties told a NSW Lotteries official.

“When I scratched this one I kept thinking, ‘this just can’t be right,’ but every time I checked it looked the same.

“I have no ideas on how I will spend my winnings; I’ve yet to work that out.

“The family were so excited by the good news, we sat down and celebrated with a nice bottle of wine,” the winner added.

The winning $10 250 Grand ticket was sold from Tura Beach News at cornet of Tura Beach Drive and Sapphire Coast Drive, Tura Beach.
