National skipper Michael Clarke will line up for New South Wales  for the first time in nearly three years when he leads the side into battle against Western Australia  in the RYOBI Cup at the WACA on Sunday. Clarke will be one of 13 Australian representatives on show, with both states fielding strong teams for the season opener. Brad Haddin, Doug Bollinger and Steve Smith are amongst the players who will be looking to start the season well in order to win a recall to the national squad, while highly regarded youngsters Nic Maddinson and Sea Abbott will also be out to impress for the Blues.

Former Test players Marcus North and Shaun Marsh spearhead a powerful Warriors batting lineup that also includes prolific runscorer Adam Voges. Mitchell Johnson and Nathan Coulter-Nile will look to extract plenty of pace from the hard WACA wicket. Wicketkeeper Tom Triffitt will make his Western Australian debut after impressing for Tasmania last season.

New South Wales won both 50 over matches between the pair last summer, including a four wicket win here in February.
