NSW Lotteries is looking for two Lotto winners in Parramatta

Monday 27 August 2012 - The Sydney suburb of Parramatta enjoyed double success in this week’s Saturday Lotto draw with two division one winning tickets being sold in the area.

Both Parramatta winners are unregistered and so far have not come forward to NSW Lotteries to claim their prize. Each division one share is worth $427,341.59.

NSW Lotteries Communications Executive, Una O’Neill, said that Lotto players who purchased their tickets in Parramatta are encouraged to check their pockets and purses for a winning Lotto ticket.

“It is wonderful to see two big Saturday Lotto wins land in Parramatta, now we just have to find the lucky winners and pay them their prize money,” Ms O’Neill said.

“As both winners are unregistered NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting them with the good news.

“We are asking all Lotto players in the Parramatta area to check their tickets as soon as possible and contact NSW Lotteries if they think they are holding the winning ticket,” Ms O’Neill said.

One of Parramatta’s winning tickets was sold from Dallas Newsagency at 162-172 Church Street and the other at Supanews Parramatta Rail at Westfield Shoppingtown.

NSW scooped three of the ten division one shares won in Saturday Lotto’s draw. Along with the two unregistered players who purchased their tickets in the Sydney suburb of Parramatta, a registered Players Club member who purchased their winning ticket in Balgownie also won a division one prize.

Along with the three NSW winning tickets, four winning tickets were sold in Victoria, two in Western Australia and one in Tasmania.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3245, drawn on 25 August 2012 are 4, 21, 17, 27, 28 and 30. The supplementary numbers are 25 and 8.
