Warragul Syndicate wins over half a million dollars in TattsLotto!

Monday 30 July, 2012 - Our Aussie Olympians weren’t the only ones who won big over the weekend! Members of a Store Syndicate in Warragul each shared in a division one TattsLotto prize worth $561,270.99!

The five-share Store Syndicate is operated by Warragul Lotto & Gifts owner Danni Nelson, who said the winning players felt like they’d won gold when she spoke to them.

“This syndicate has only been running for 30-weeks, and each share is purchased as a 10-week System-12 entry,” Ms Nelson said.

“To have won more than $112,000 each in that short amount of time is great news for the members!”

Ms Nelson said the syndicate members are yet to decide how to spend their windfall.

“A few of the shareholders are local business owners, and they can really use this money during slower sales periods,” she said.

“Some of them mentioned taking a holiday, but I don’t think the win has sunk in for them all yet so they haven’t thought about what to do.”

The Store Syndicate is operated by Warragul Lotto & Gifts, Shop 3 at Centrepoint, Warragul and is run in conjunction with Bairnsdale Lotto in Bairnsdale.

There were eight division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 3237 on 28 July 2012, with two in Victoria, one in New South Wales, three in Western Australia and two in South Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3237 were 42, 1, 37, 33, 27 and 28 with the supplementary numbers 29 and 17. There were also 36 division two winners who took home $15,360.95 each.

Tatts Public Relations Executive Zoe Knobel reminds players that tickets are now available for purchase in this week’s Powerball jackpot.

“Visit your local Tatts outlet or online to purchase an entry for your chance to share in Powerball’s $50 million jackpot this Thursday night!” Ms Knobel said.
