Tuesday 3 July, 2012 - A mystery Caringbah Lotto player was the sole division one winner in last night’s Monday Lotto draw, the lucky winner scored the $1 million division one prize pool.
As the owner of the winning ticket did not register their Monday Lotto entry to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card, NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the winner. They may be unaware of their new millionaire status.
NSW Lotteries spokesperson, Una O’Neill, said that Lotto players in the Caringbah area are encouraged to check their tickets as soon as possible.
“If you have recently purchased a Monday Lotto ticket from Caringbah Village Newsagency, you are encouraged to check it as soon as possible. That ticket could be worth $1 million,” Ms O’Neill said.
“We always encourage Lotto players to register their tickets to a Players Club card, that way they can be contacted when they win a big division one prize and never risk missing out,” Ms O’Neill added.
Caringbah’s $1 million winning Monday Lotto ticket was sold from Caringbah Village Newsagency at Shop 6, 55 President Avenue, Caringbah.
Caringbah’s lucky millionaire joins six other new Lotto millionaires in NSW this week. Six NSW Lotto players each won $1.25 million in the Saturday Lotto $30 million mid-year Megadraw. NSW Lotteries is also looking for winners from Tumut and Hammonville who have yet to claim their prize.
The winning numbers in Monday Lotto, draw 3152, were 32, 28, 20, 35, 12 and 21 with the supplementary numbers 42 and 38.
