South Sydney will be hoping to extend a three game winning streak when they face St George at ANZ Stadium on Saturday night.  The Rabbitohs are one of the form teams of the competition, winning eight of their past ten games on a quest for their first premiership trophy in forty years. Dragons utility Nathan Fien has been ruled out with a mild knee injury forcing a reshuffle to the Dragons bench.


History – The Dragons have been a bogey side for Souths in recent season. The Dragons boast an impressive record winning fourteen and losing just five, while one game has ended in a draw. Souths have had the upper hand recently recording back-back wins after a Adam Reynolds’s golden-point field goal sealed a dramatic 19-18 win for the Rabbitohs in round eleven.


Dangermen – Souths fullback Greg Inglis has been declared fit after suffering a minor knee injury in last Monday’s win over the Roosters, Inglis continues to torment opposition defence lines and sits in second position on the tackle busts ladder with 98 for the season. Brett Morris is one of the best finishers in the NRL, the hard working winger leads the NRL in run metres and is sure to play a major role in any Dragons attacking raids.


Prediction – Souths are on a quick back-up from a heart stopping win against the Roosters. The Dragons season is on a knifes edge and they will be desperate for a win. Dragons 1-12 .
