Young Canberra man has "no worries" after $1.25 million win!

Monday 2 July, 2012 - A young Canberra man is set for life after winning a $1.25 million share of TattsLotto’s $30 million Mid-Year Megadraw over the weekend!

The man, in his late 20s, summarised his feelings in four simple words after being told the news.

“No debts; no worries,” he said.

“This is going to be amazing for me, I’ll be able to set myself up and take care of members of my family who will really appreciate this money.

“In the short term I’ll buy a house, or maybe even houses…

“I’ll also take my family on a holiday to celebrate, the works.”

The winning man said he is not a regular TattsLotto player.

“I only buy tickets when there’s a big draw coming up, and I’ll just grab a QuickPick.

“Glad I did this time!”

The winning 24-game Mega QuickPick ticket was purchased for $15.70 online at Tatts.com.

Throughout Australia 24 winners shared the $30 million division one prize pool in last night’s TattsLotto Mid-year Megadraw. Nine winning tickets were sold in Victoria, six in New South Wales, four in South Australia, three in Queensland and two in Western Australia.

The winning numbers in Saturday TattsLotto draw 3229 were 40, 37, 30, 33, 32 and 8 with the supplementary numbers 14 and 34.
