Tuesday 26 June, 2012 - The owner of a TattsLotto ticket purchased in Derwent Park in Tasmania will have thousands of reasons to celebrate when they find out they won a $707,703.63 share of the prize pool in draw 3227 last Saturday night!
Although the winning ticket is registered to a Tatts Card holder, Tatts officials have been unable to contact the winner to give them the good news.
Tatts Public Relations Executive, Zoe Knobel said that the winner may be unaware of their new status.
“As we have been unable to contact the TattsLotto winner, it is quite possible that they are going about their week totally unaware of their good fortune,” Ms Knobel said.
“This is a great reminder to make sure you keep the contact details on your Tatts Card up to date.”
Registering all of your Tatts lottery purchases to your Tatts Card not only ensures you will be personally contacted with news of a big win, you also get the peace of mind that comes from knowing you will never miss out on a prize.
The $707,703.63 TattsLotto winning ticket was purchased from Derwent Park Newsagency at 255 Main Road in Derwent Park.
There were six division one winners nationally in TattsLotto draw 3227 on 23 June 2012, with one in Tasmania, three in Queensland and two in Victoria.
