Shepparton TattsLotto ticket wins half a million dollars!

Monday 28 May, 2012 - A TattsLotto player is celebrating this week after a ticket purchased in Shepparton made him more than half a million dollars richer following Saturday’s TattsLotto draw 3219.

The happy winner had registered his entry to a Tatts Card and was shocked to receive the phone call from Tatts that everybody dreams of.

“How about that!” he exclaimed when he was told he’d won a division one prize of $539,405.89.

Along with prizes in divisions three and four, the winner’s TattsLotto System 8 entry won him a total of $553,064.29.

“That’ll be really good, I’ve got quite a few bills to pay,” he said.

While the win is still sinking in, the man is certain that he won’t be splashing money around.

“I’ll be healing from a few financial wounds before I think about doing anything else.

“I’ve been on the rocks lately so I’m going to be very careful with the money – I don’t want to go broke again.”

The winning entry was purchased from Shepparton Plaza Lotto on High Street in Shepparton.

There were eight division one winners nationally in Saturday TattsLotto draw 3219 on 26 May 2012. There were three division one winning entries purchased in Victoria, with another two in Queensland, two in South Australia and one in Western Australia.

The winning numbers were 13, 38, 36, 37, 10 and 22 with supplementary numbers 28 and 42. There were also 61 division two winners who took home $9,594.55 each.

Public Relations Executive Zoe Knobel said Tatts is still waiting for one of the Victorian winners to come forward who purchased their entry at Upper Ferntree Gully Authorised News in Ferntree Plaza.

“Unfortunately the winner had not registered their entry to a Tatts Card so we’re unable to contact them to share the good news!

“If you purchased your ticket from Upper Ferntree Gully Authorised News, check your numbers today and you could be the winner we’re looking for.”
