Kingsville grandmother wins $51,916 in Super 66

Thursday 10 May, 2012 - A Kingsville grandmother can’t wipe the smile from her face this week, after winning $51,916.95 in Saturday’s Super 66 draw.

The grandmother explained that she discovered her win on Sunday when she checked the draw results in the newspaper.

“I couldn’t quite believe it when I saw that the number in the newspaper matched the number on my ticket,”
she said.

“I called my family right away to tell them the great news – they are all delighted for me.”

When asked how she plans to use the prize money, the woman said she would replace a few things around home and put the rest in her savings account.

“I’ll need to settle down a bit before making any further decisions,” she said.

“It’s been a big surprise and an exciting week!”

The woman purchased her winning ticket from Carnovale Lotto on Somerville Road in Yarraville.

Tatts Lotteries spokesperson Zoe Knobel said that there is still $40 million up for grabs in lotto this week.

“With a $20 million division one prize pool on offer in tonight’s Powerball draw and the opportunity to win a
share of $20 million in Saturday TattsLotto’s Superdraw this weekend, we hope to see more big winners in
Victoria this week,” Ms Knobel said.
