Thursday 10 May, 2012 - Tatts is still searching for the holder of an unregistered division one winning ticket from Tuesday’s Oz Lotto draw, purchased from Murphy’s Newsagency on Pakington Street in Geelong West.
The ticket is now worth $24,952,195.76, but as yet no one has come forward with the ticket to claim the multimillion dollar prize.
Tatts spokesperson Louise Azzopardi said it’s possible the winner has the winning ticket in their wallet or handbag and is going about their week as usual, completely unaware of their new multimillionaire status.
“Unfortunately the ticket was not registered to a Tatts Card, so we have no way of knowing who the winner is, or contacting them to tell them the life changing news,” she said.
“If you purchased an unregistered entry in Tuesday’s Oz Lotto draw from Murphy’s Newsagency on Pakington Street in Geelong West, please have it checked at a Tatts outlet as soon as possible.
“You could be our mystery missing multimillionaire!”
Three winners across three states shared Tuesday night’s mammoth $70 million Oz Lotto jackpot. The other two division one winning tickets were purchased in Sydney and Adelaide.
Along with the huge jackpot prize, more than 2.2 million additional prizes were won across Australia in divisions two to seven, with winners sharing in a total prize pool of $119.6 million.
The winning numbers in Oz Lotto’s $70 million draw (951) were 17, 8, 28, 34, 41, 42 and 6. Supplementary numbers were 4 and 19.
Oz Lotto will offer a $2 million division one prize in next week’s draw.
Lotto players still have an opportunity to win big this week with a $20 million Powerball jackpot tonight and a $20 million TattsLotto Superdraw this Saturday.
