New numbers did the trick for TattsLotto multimillionaire!

Monday 30 April, 2012 - An Altona grandfather became an instant multimillionaire after winning the entire $4 million division one prize pool in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw 3211.

As the sole recipient of the prize pool, the man has started the week $4,043,316.12 richer!

After checking his System 10 entry against the winning numbers in the newspaper on Sunday and realising he won big, there was only one thing on his to-do list.

“I went out and bought several bottles of Dom Pérignon champagne to celebrate with my friends and family.”

The winner has been playing TattsLotto for over 30 years with predominantly the same numbers, but said he had recently changed them.

“Two weeks ago I changed the numbers I’d been playing with and I was considering changing them again before Saturday’s draw, but it’s a good thing I didn’t!”

Because he’s been playing so long, the man said he expected the day would come that he’d be a big winner.

“I don’t play for fun; I play to win, and now I have!”

The man purchased his winning ticket from Altona West Newsagency in Melbourne.

The Victorian man was the sole division one winner in TattsLotto draw 3211 on Saturday 28 April 2012.

The winning numbers were 23, 4, 33, 5, 31 and 12 with supplementary numbers 3 and 9.

Tatts Public Relations Executive Zoe Knobel said tomorrow’s $50 million Oz Lotto draw may produce more multimillionaires.

“With a mind blowing division one prize pool of $50 million up for grabs, we’re hoping there’ll be even more
delighted multimillionaires this week!”
