The Formula One caravan moves to Bahrain this weekend for the first time in two years after last year’s race in the gulf state was abandoned. Briton’s Lewis Hamilton and 2009 winner Jenson Button head the driver’s standing this season and are expected to fare well around the Sakhir circuit in their McLarens. Hamilton is yet to finish first this season, while Button won the season opening Australian Grand Prix last month.
2011 world champion Sebastian Vettel is yet to win a race this season after crossing the line first in eleven of the nineteen races last year and he will be determined to right that wrong. Fernando Alonso will be looking to post his second success of the season after winning in Malaysia, while Nico Rosberg will be looking to do the same just seven days after winning in China.
In the last formula 1 race held here, in 2010, Alonso finished ahead of Felipe Massa and Hamilton.
