Gai Waterhouse will be looking to continue her fine run of form at Sydney’s autumn carnival when her superstar mare More Joyous lines up in Saturday’s Doncaster Mile. Although she didn’t show her best form in Melbourne during the spring, she has bounced back to her best this time in with her victory in the Queen Of The Turf last time out her sixth at the top level.
Chris Waller has won two of the past four renewals of the race and will saddle up four runners, including 2010 winner Rangirangdoo and 2010 AJC Derby winner Shoot Out . Secret Admirer won the Group One Epsom Handicap over the Randwick mile during her last preparation and is again expected to race well, while King's Rose and Hurtle Myrtle are amongst the other gallopers to have won at the top level.
