Bayern Munich will be looking to build on their unbeaten home record in the Champions League this season when they host Real Madrid on Wednesday morning (AEST). The German club has won all six home games in the competition this season – including a 2-0 quarter final win over Marseille- and also boast an unbeaten record against the Spanish giants in Munich. Bayern has won eight and drawn one of the nine games played there between the sides.
Real Madrid is unbeaten in the Champions League this season, winning nine of their ten matches and collecting a draw in the other. Jose Mourinho’s side has been finding the back of the net with ease in recent matches, with their 3-0 first leg quarter final win over APOEL sandwiched between 4-1 and 5-2 success at home in the competition.
