Tuesday 28 March - Monday Lotto players who purchased their tickets in the Sydney suburb of Chatswood are encouraged to check their tickets for Monday Lotto’s six winning numbers.
A ticket purchased in the area won the $1 million division one prize in last night’s Monday Lotto draw.
As the owner did not register the winning ticket to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card, NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the lucky winner with the good news. They may be unaware of their new millionaire status.
NSW Lotteries spokesperson Una O’Neill said that this is the second mystery Lotto winner in the Sydney area this week.
“The ticket that won the $1 million division one prize in last night’s Monday Lotto draw was purchased from Nextra Chatswood Newsagency in Westfield Shopping Centre, Chatswood. If you purchased your ticket at this store you are encouraged to check it as soon as possible and if you find that you are the mystery millionaire, come forward and claim your prize,” Ms O’Neill said.
“This is the second mystery winner in the Sydney area this week; we are still looking for the owner of a ticket that won $851,953.40 in Saturday’s Lotto draw. The winning ticket was sold from Eastgate Newsagency at Bondi Junction,” Ms O’Neill added.
Lottery players are encouraged to always register their lottery purchases to a Players Club card. For a small annual fee, Players Club membership ensures that you never miss out on a prize and that you can be contacted in the event you win a division one prize.
The winning numbers in Monday Lotto, draw 3124 were 42, 17, 44, 31, 21 and 36. The supplementary numbers were 28 and 34.
Tickets are now on sale for the 31 March $21 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw. For your change to win a share of $21 million visit your local NSW Lotteries retailer today and ask for a Saturday Lotto Superdraw entry.
