Mystery Bondi Junction winner claims Saturday Lotto division one prize

Wednesday 28 March - The mystery owner of the $851,953.40 winning Saturday Lotto ticket purchased in Bondi Junction has come forward to claim her prize.

The Sydney woman said that she is finding it hard to believe her good luck.

“I got the results and checked my ticket. I had to check the ticket three times to make sure I was seeing it right,” the winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, laughed.

“I’m absolutely flabbergasted; the amount of money I have won just hasn’t registered in my mind. I can’t believe its true,” the delighted winner added.

The Sydney woman scored an $851,953.40 share in Saturday Lotto’s $4 million division one prize pool with a 36 game Megapick which cost $23.90. The winning ticket was sold from Eastgate Newsagency at Bondi.

NSW Lotteries officials were unable to contact the winner about her Saturday Lotto win as she did not register the winning ticket to a Players Club card. If the winner was a registered member of NSW Lotteries Players Club, she would have been contacted regarding her $851,953.40 Saturday Lotto win.

Players Club membership protects prizes and ensures that winners never miss out on their prize, however big or small.

Players Club membership starts from just $3 a year and is available online at www.nswlotteries.com.au and at any NSW Lotteries retail outlet.

Five winning entries shared Saturday Lotto’s $4 million prize, along with the winning ticket sold in Bondi Junction, three winning tickets were sold in Victoria and one in Queensland.

The winning numbers were 29, 42, 27, 17, 39 and 45. The supplementary numbers were 10 and 8.
