The Australian Swimming Championships take place in Adelaide from March 15 to March 22 and the meet has added importance this year, with it also acting as the selection trials for the London Olympics. A host of the world’s best swimmers are in action including 100m freestyle champion James Magnussen and 2008 gold medallists Stephanie Rice and Leisel Jones.

The meet also features the return of Ian Thorpe after five years away from the sport, while Michael Klim and Lisbeth Trickett are also making comebacks in the South Australian capital.
