AFC Champions League Matchday Two

Brisbane Roar  travels to China for their second match of their 2012 AFC Champions League campaign to take on Beijing Guoan  on Tuesday night, looking for an inaugural win in the competition. The A-League champions made a poor start to the campaign, suffering a 2-0 home defeat to Japanese club FC Tokyo. The Roar are coming off a 2-1  win away to Newcastle in the domestic competition, while Beijing Guoan broke a run of four straight defeats – including a 2-1 Champions League defeat to Korean side Ulsan Hyundai - with a 3-2  win in the Chinese Super League on the weekend.

Adelaide United  takes on Japanese club Gamba Osaka  at Hindmarsh Stadium in a replay of the 2008 final on the same night. Despite languishing towards the bottom of the A-League ladder, the Reds scored a 2-1  win over Bunyodkor in Uzbekistan on matchday one.
