Randwick Guineas Raceday Preview

**TattsBet $250,000 Quadrella Jackpot (SR5, SR6, SR7 & SR8)**

Eskimo Prince Stakes (SR5)Nobby Snip has won four of his six career starts, including an impressive success over Didntcostalot at this level last time out. Despite having to carry 4kg’s more in this race, he looks to have a leading chance, although Didntcostalot and Altar are much better in at the weights. Mahisara produced a good run first up last campaign before running well in Melbourne and could spring a surprise, while Charm’s Honour will come into calculations on a wet track.
Selections: Nobby Snip, Mahisara, Didntcostalot, Charm’s Honour

Randwick Guineas **TattsBet $26,086 Trifecta Jackpot** (SR6)Mosheen upstaged the boys with a commanding 3 length success in the Australian Guineas earlier this month and there is nothing to suggest that she will not be competitive again here. Strike The Stars chased her home in that race and should be able to settle closer to the speed in this race from a better draw after charging home late at Flemington. He is a genuine winning chance. Manawanui has finished second at both his starts this preparation but I’m not convinced he is going as good as last year. Although he isn’t without a hope, he is short enough for me. Kiwi Raider Ocean Park is amongst the best three year-olds in New Zealand and warrants respect, while Ambidexter and Doctor Doom will be finishing strongly.
Selections: Mosheen, Strike The Stars, Ocean Park, Manawanui

Wenona Girl Handicap (SR7)Alberton Park is racing in career best form and gets a chance to reverse a narrow defeat to Dystopia last time out with a 3.5kg swing in the weights. Despite being drawn wide, Balmont looks to have a leading chance based on her spring form. This is her pet distance and she goes well 2nd up from a spell. Potions ran well last week and should be competitive, while Peter Moody has Curtana nominated for this race (although she is also entered in Melbourne) and she will be a strong chance if she lines up here.
Selections: Curtana, Balmont, Alberton Park, Potions

BM 80 Handicap **TattsBet $2,492 Quinella Jackpot** (SR8)Forfeiture looks well treated for his win over at Canterbury last time out and can win again. He should get a good run from barrier 5 and looks as though the step up in trip will do him no harm. The biggest danger could be Revolt, although he has an awkward alley to contend with. He didn’t appreciate the heavy track at his last start but still ran on well. Velrosso wasn’t beaten far by two real speedsters at Rosehill a fortnight ago and has plenty of scope for improvement, while Knot Out and Hard Liquor are place chances.
Selections: Velrosso, Forfeiture, Revolt, Knot Out
