Ana Ivanovic  and Caroline Wozniacki  will meet in the fourth round of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells today, in a clash that not only sees two former world number ones go head to head, but also two former champions. Despite splitting their four meetings with two wins apiece, world number four Wozniacki has had the wood over the Serbian in recent times, winning the last two. Just last month she defeated the world number sixteen in straight sets  after taking the opening stanza 6-3.

A former world number one is also in action in the men’s singles, with Roger Federer  taking on rising star Miles Raonic . Swiss star Federer has won 74 matches in a row against players ranked outside the top twenty, while Raonic is yet to defeat a top eight player in six attempts.
