Arsenal will be looking for their fifth successive Premier League success when they host Newcastle at the Emirates on Tuesday morning (AEST). Their fine form has seen them leap to fourth on the table, although they are only ahead of Chelsea on goal difference. Last week the Gunners recorded a 2-1 win against Liverpool at Anfield, coming from a goal down to take all three points, while the Magpies are coming off a 1-1 draw with Sunderland in the Northeast derby.
Mikel Arteta and Aaron Ramsay should return from injury for the hosts, but Abou Diaby is still out. Peter Lovendkrands will miss the match, but is the only injury concern for Newcastle.
Arsenal have won six of the last eight Premier League matches that they have hosted against Newcastle, but went down 1-0 when the teams met here last season. These clubs clashed on the opening day of the season, with the game ending in a draw .
