The Central Coast Mariners  face Perth Glory  on Sunday evening looking to get their faltering A-League campaign back on track after failing to win since defeating Wellington on February 18. Following last Saturday’s draw  at home to Sydney FC, the Mariners faced a tough trip to China on the opening matchday of the AFC Champions League campaign before another long flight to Western Australia.

Perth has mixed its form of late, winning three and losing two of their past five fixtures. Just three weeks out from the finals, Glory still needs another win to make sure of their spot in the post season. Shane Smeltz and Liam Miller could both return from injury to boost their chances.

The Central Coast Mariners have historically had the wood on Perth winning thirteen of the twenty matches between the sides, while Glory have won on just three occasions. The most recent meeting resulted in a 3-1  triumph for the Mariners at nib Stadium.

The afternoon match sees Brisbane Roar  host Adelaide United  at Suncorp Stadium, where a win will send the defending premiers, at least temporarily, to the top of the table.
