Djokovic Begins Dubai Campaign

World number one Novak Djokovic  will be in action for the first time since his epic five set win over Rafael Nadal in the Australian Open final when he takes to the court in Dubai tonight. The Serbian will face German Cedrik-Marcel Stebe , in the opening round of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships tonight, which has attracted eight of the world’s top ten ranked players.

Also in action is Novak’s younger brother Marko Djokovic , who does battle with Andrey Golubev  from Kazakhstan. The 20 year-old is ranked 866 places below his elder brother and lost both of his previous matches on the tour. World number eight Mardy Fish  is also in action on the opening night, when he takes on world number 96 Andreas Beck  from Germany.
