North Sydney man "walking on air" after Saturday Lotto win

Monday 20 February - A couple from North Sydney are celebrating today following their $1,117,158.94 win in Saturday Lotto.

The local business man says that he has been walking on air since discovering his big win on Sunday afternoon.

“We are just walking on air at the moment, this is wonderful news. Not only are we happy for ourselves but we are happy for the newsagent who told us that he has wanted to sell a big prize for a long time,” the man in his sixties said.

“This has come at the right time, we will use the money to pay off debts and to pay our carbon tax,” the winner laughed.

The lucky couple purchased a systems nine entry, made up of their favourite numbers including their birthdays from Miller Street Oval Newsagency at 248 Miller Street, North Sydney.

The winning ticket, purchased by the player as a once-off, scored a $1,090,089.19 share of the division one prize pool plus an additional $27,069.75 in divisional prizes.

Four winners shared Saturday Lotto’s $4 million division one prize; two winning tickets were purchased in Victoria, one in Queensland and one in NSW.

The winning numbers for Saturday Lotto, draw 3191 were 13, 38, 37, 32, 3 and 14. The supplementary numbers were 29 and 17.
